Marco Polo

Context

I studied music and piano several years, and I always wanted to try composing by myself. Synthwave is a genre that I enjoy listening and seemed quite “easy” to replicate with a digital audio workstation.

For the theme, I chose to tell the story of Marco Polo, the explorer. It would allow me to use some eastern sounds and instruments in the mix.

Result

I used Logic Pro X to compose and I made the cover with Photoshop, following the vaporwave art guidelines.
